Louis Vuitton, or LV for short, is one of the world’s truly iconic luxury brands, and is also the darling of the vintage, preloved and second hand designer fashion world from Singapore to Sydney. Best-known for the LV Monogram Canvas on classic bags such as the Keepall, Speedy and Neverfull, but also Damier Canvas, Epi Leather, Vernis Leather on everything from clothes and even jewellery.
Louis Vuitton started in 1854 as a malletier making trunks and luggage for the European elite, developing a reputation early on for quality and innovation. Interestingly, one of its most iconic designs, the monogram canvas, began in 1896 as a way to fight counterfeiters, the same material that our revolutionary authentication technology started scanning in 2016.
